Dikran Knadjian was of Armenian descent and spoke with a British accent. He was 5′ 8″ and about 165 Ibs. He was wearing a red, white, blue polo shirt, blue bellbottom jeans, beige canvas top desert boots and a black belt. He had a dark mole on the back of his right hand near the wrist. He was known to be carrying a Pentax camera and Omega wristwatch with a black band. He was reported missing on 24th July 1972. He has never been seen again and none of his personal items has ever been found.

Since his disappearance, his family have created a scholarship called The Dikran Knadjian Scholarship. This creates an annual opportunity for a medical student to pursue a fully-funded medical elective to Armenia.
